About Cage-Free Network
What is Cage-Free Network?
Cage-Free Network is a non-formal collaborative network established by Across Species Project Indonesia (ASPI) to bring together laying duck farmers who have implemented or are committed to transitioning toward cage-free farming systems as part of efforts to improve animal welfare. Farmers join the Cage-Free Network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASPI. Through this MoU, farmers become part of ASPI’s collaborative network and gain access to collaborative support. This support includes strengthening animal welfare-based farming practices, capacity building for farmers, and increased visibility through the publication of farmers’ profiles on the ASPI website.
